Stephen D. Ochs, M.D.,J.D.,M.B.A.
Dr. Ochs is a board certified ANESTHESIOLOGIST specializing in ambulatory
anesthesia with an emphasis on elective cosmetic and complex maxillofacial
surgery. He is a former department chairman at two large community hospitals in
Montana and Colorado. He co-founded one of the first ambulatory surgery centers
in Colorado. Dr. Ochs holds separate clinical academic university appointments
where he continues to instruct and supervise resident physicians and medical
students in anesthesiology. He maintains current medical licenses in Colorado,
Montana and California. He holds membership in multiple medical specialty
organizations including anesthesiology, cosmetic surgery and ambulatory surgery.
Dr. Ochs is a TRIAL ATTORNEY who limits his practice to medical negligence
and medical product liability litigation. He is licensed in Colorado from where he
has litigated and consulted on cases in multiple states in the Mid-Continent and
Far West regions. He has obtained verdicts or settlements into seven figures. He
continues to speak at medical and/or legal educational meetings throughout the
country.
Dr. Ochs performs selective consultative reviews of business, legal and/or medical
processes in ambulatory surgery centers and office based private medical/dental
practices. His primary interest is in professional liability issues as related to risk
management, sentinel event prevention and PATIENT SAFETY.
